Every summer, you should clean your outside windows, screens, and shutters. Remove the screens before cleaning the screens and windows, but it is not necessary to remove the shutters.

Always use a broom to remove spider webs and dirt before using water. If you have a large number of windows or a two-story house, buying a window washing mixture that hooks onto your garden hose will make the job much easier.

Cleaning stainless steel

Use a mild detergent such as dish washing liquid and a cloth.

For a stronger cleaner, mild detergent with warm water can do a great job without damaging your stainless steel.

Make sure you rinse the surface thoroughly to prevent staining and spotting. Towel dry to prevent water spots which minerals in water can cause.
