Catch your own crab for Christmas with Dennis Baxter of New Captain Pete Sportfishing. He’s offering two crab-only trips on Christmas Eve at 7 a.m. and noon. Annual Coastside Community Christmas Sing

The Coastside Community Christmas sing will take place on December 11, 2011 at the Community United Methodist Church. Five of the local churches are participating in addition to the Coastside Chorale. The Community Sing is a free event, will be held at 7 p.m. and is open to the public. Refreshments will be served.

Coastside Chorale Winter Concert December 10, 2011

From 7:30-9 p.m. you will have your spirits lifted with seasonal music performed by the Coastside Chorale.

Traditional and contemporary music will be accompanied by harp, cello and percussion. Also, selections by vocal quintet “Every Second Counts.” Sing along with the chorale for a few traditional carols!

Annual Boat Decorating Festival in Half Moon Bay Harbor

One of the Coastside’s classic traditions— don’t miss the 24th Annual Boat Decorating Festival from 5-8 p.m. on Saturday, December 10. Walk along the docks and enjoy the decked out boats. Even the locked private piers will be open to visitors. Bring your family to walk the decked out docks.

Princeton Seafood will be giving out free hot spiced cider and stuffed toys.

Enjoy singing traditional Christmas Carols outside by the fish market.

Santa will be there too.

Visit Harbor Books at the Half Moon Bay Harbor this Saturday, December 10 from 2-6 p.m.

Several artists will be on hand to talk about and sell their artwork from 2-6 p.m. They include Susan Friedman, Randall Reid, Jennifer Clark, Carole Brehm, Janet Jarvis and other guest artists as well.

John and Dale, The Other Guys, will be playing music in the Mall at Harbor Books from 3-5:30

At 6 p.m. Therese Ambrosi Smith will be signing her new book, “Wax”
