Sam’s ChowderMobile will also be on the scene serving their infamous Lobster Rolls and clam chowder. Treatbot karaoke ice cream truck will supply the sweets. Net proceeds from the event will be donated to the American Legion Coastside Post 474, to support coastside Fourth of July Fireworks.
Local celebrities on hand for the event include Damon Bruce, host of KNBR’s “The Damon Bruce Show,” and Jeff Clark, the founder of the surf-competition Maverick’s. Both will serve as judges for the oyster shucking and oyster eating contests.
An impressive list of silent auction items will be up for grabs including a broadcast booth meet and greet with famed Giants announcer Jon Miller plus club level seats, and for those seeking relaxation, an overnight stay at the Half Moon Bay Ritz-Carlton.
The event will happen at the American Legion Fairgrounds, 470 Capistrano Road, Half Moon Bay at Princeton Harbor.
Attendance is free, but tickets for food, drinks, rides, kids’ activities can be purchased online in advance at a discounted rate and collected at will call; buy 12 tickets for $10, 25 for $20, or 60 for $50.
