How to Create Balance and De-Stress — a free workshop at the San Mateo County Fair

Coaxing Creativity is a fun workshop by Coastsider, Mary Knippel that will take place on June 17 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the San Mateo County Fair Literary Arts Stage.

This workshop is free and sponsored by the California Writers Club, San Francisco/Peninsula Branch will be held in the County Fair Fine Arts Building.

Collage materials are supplied. Please— no unsupervised children. Ages 10 and up must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

 

 

Judy Shintani Book Making Class Offered in Half Moon Bay

Thursday, April 21st, 2011

Register by April 22nd for a one of a kind Book Making Class taught by expert Judy Shintani to be held on April 25th, 2011 from 10:00 – 11:30 am at the Coastside Senior Center.

Students will make  an accordion style  art book using collaging, painting, and drawing. Judy will be bringing a variety of decorative materials!

The class is at the Senior Center, and those 60+ years old get first reservations in the class, but it is open to all ages for $5. Last class a grandmother brought her 8 year old granddaughter and they had a blast.
