A coastal trail that has been in the planning stages for 25 years was finally unveiled at a ribbon-cutting ceremony last week. Freezing in state expenditures from bonds, led to delays.
Today, three miles south of Half Moon Bay, the Cowell-Purisima Trail stretches along three miles of bluff tops along the ocean. It was built through a partnership between the Peninsula Open Space Trust and California State Coastal Conservancy. (more…)
